Herman Lau is the co-founder of the China and Hong Kong operations of JH Partners Asia. Graduated from the University of Hong Kong with a bachelor’s degree in engineering, Herman is one of founding members of JHP and has accumulated over a decade of professional experience in the recruitment industry. Over the years, Herman has been heading up both the Banking and the Technology Divisions to provide recruitment services for clients across Asia, specializing in both traditional banking & finance and the latest financial technology sectors. Having worked for top-notch recruitment firms in Singapore and China before founding JHP, Herman has successfully assisted numerous corporates to recruit talents and setup new operations across Hong Kong, China and Singapore through his extensive industry knowledge and network developed in the region.

Albert Wong is the co-founder of the China and Hong Kong operations of JH Partners Asia. Albert graduated from the University of Nottingham with a B.A. (Hons) in Business Management. Albert is one of founding members of JHP and has been heading up both the Banking and Operation Divisions to provide recruitment services for clients across Asia. With over 10 years of recruitment experience for clients across Asia, Albert specialises in middle & back office roles in the financial sector and has successfully placed numerous candidates to renowned corporate and financial institutions.

Kobe Yang is the Partner and China Office Head of JH Partners, focusing on executive search over financial services and technology sectors including traditional finance, fintech, blockchain, web2 and web3, and artificial intelligence. Over the past 11 years, Kobe has helped build JH Partners' China onshore executive search business from the ground up across private equity and venture capital, investment banking, brokerage, and asset management (directional and quant investment).
With over 174 successful placements totaling over ¥36 million in fees, Kobe has established himself as one of the top China-focused search consultants. He achieved quarterly fees of over millions for eight times and has spoken at high-profile events such as the Credit Suisse China Investment Conference.
Kobe takes pride in assisting leading financial institutions and technology companies establish and scale their businesses across key markets in China, Hong Kong, Singapore, the UK, and US. Through his expertise in identifying and recruiting C-suite executives and middle managers, Kobe has helped many organizations expand internationally with local leadership teams.

Graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong with master’s degrees in law and Japanese Studies. Billy is a seasoned in-house human resources executive before joining JHP. Billy has been the Head of Staffing and Strategic Management in a major Chinese investment bank for over a decade before moving on to the Head of HR role in a Chinese State-owned fund management firm. Billy has extensive professional experience in recruitment and strategic management. During the course of his career, Billy has taken part in numerous overseas recruitment projects which include setup new operations and takeover across China, United Kingdom and Singapore.

Mitsuhiro Sugimoto has abundant experience and achievements in consultation and proposals for both companies and candidates. Sugimoto was a award winning top consultant and manager before joining JH Partners. He has over 10 years of working experience in Hong Kong and Japan for a wide range of industries including Japanese companies and Native Japanese / Fluent Japanese speaker for MNCs and local companies. Sugimoto offers exclusive job proposals in Japanese market and currently leading Japan Division at JH Partners.

Lu Yim is our team manager under Banking and Finance division at JH Partners. Lu is specializing in the recruitment of banking, finance, real estate, and property professionals for Asia-Pacific operations in Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, China, Australia, New Zealand and Dubai. Lu successfully completed job placements ranging from senior to C-Level executive candidates. Before joining JH Partners, Lu worked in a global fortune 500 company with years of experience in executive recruitment and career advisory.
